AARON MURPHY aka Murph On Ice
Favorite Sports Teams: Boston Bruins, St. John’s IceCaps, Leinster Rugby. I love all contact sports – especially hockey and rugby!
Favorite Sports Memory: Covering the 2011 and 2012 Stanley Cup Finals in Boston and New Jersey. Both trips had incredible atmospheres – and playoff hockey is the most intense experience I have ever been a part of. Guys are playing with broken bones, and ridiculous injuries! Seeing that up close and personal was something I’ll never forget.
Gretzky or Lemieux: This is a tough one! Both players changed the NHL game, and are legends in their own right – but I’ll have to go with Gretz. He was so dominant, and could pass the puck blind-folded!
Lebron or Jordan: Jordan hands down. I still don’t respect Lebron and the gang conspiring to buy a title in Miami. Jordan did it on his own and beat the best guys in the NBA. MJ never called his mates on other teams and said ‘let’s all go to Miami’ and bail on our current clubs! He had the fire and intensity to do it in Chicago – Lebron didn’t have that same spark in Cleveland.
Bold sports claim for this year: Sidney Crosby will have a huge comeback year after all his concussion issues (when the NHL sorts out their CBA issues), and the Boston Bruins will get back to the Stanley Cup Final. The Maple Leafs sadly will miss the playoffs yet again!

Favorite Sports Memory: 2008 Final Four- Kansas beats Memphis in OT to win the National Title, I was lucky enough to be in San Antonio for that glorious weekend.
RG3 or Andrew Luck: Luck, I know his father Oliver Luck from his days as commissioner of NFL Europe. I also like Stanford because I used to live in Bay Area.

Bold sports claim for this year: Predicted the Cincinnati Reds would return to the MLB playoffs. Predicted that Chelsea would win the Champions League Final on penalties, I am and avid CFC fan and season ticket holder.
