As the guest coach at the recent ESPN America MLB Ultimate Fan Experience in Tuscany, Italy, MIKE PIAZZA was kind enough to take time out from coaching our Step Up To The Plate Challenge winners to sit down with us for an informal Q&A session on the practise field.
The former Dodger, Marlin, Met, Padre and Athletic – over 16 MLB seasons – played primarily as a catcher, but also had spells as first base and DH. He also played for Italy in the 2006 World Baseball Classic, and is currently the hitting coach for the Italian national team.
